Judgment was first available for PS4 in Japan in December 2018, before releasing on PS4 worldwide in June 2019. This new version of Judgment is coming to Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, PS5 and Stadia on April 23, 2021. The trailer promises 60 FPS gameplay and "refined visuals," though it's important to note there's no free upgrade for players on PS4. There's also no word of a PC version at the moment.
The latest mainline entry in the Yakuza series is Yakuza: Like a Dragon, which we noted in our review was a modern JRPG masterpiece, heavily changing up the gameplay while keeping the core themes, plot and humor of prior games intact.
