Microsoft and Xbox will have a major presence at Gamescom 2019

Every year, Microsoft goes to Gamescom where it discusses the future of the brand. This year is no different. Today, the company detailed its plans for the massive conference. The company is going to host a special "Inside Xbox" show from Cologne, Germany, and have numerous booths on display.

If you're attending Gamescom, you should be able to see the following events and booths.

  • Inside Xbox: To kick off the week, Microsoft will be hosting a special episode of Inside Xbox live from the Gloria Theatre in Cologne. Tune in Monday, August 19 for the latest news, games, accessories, and features coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 gaming.
  • Xbox Open Doors: Held at the Gloria Theatre on Wednesday, August 21 to Friday, August 23, Xbox Open Doors offers fans a unique experience. You'll be able to participate in community events, game tournaments, panel sessions, and more.
  • Xbox Booth: The Xbox booth will feature nearly two hundred gaming stations with a massive line-up of titles across a variety of genres and platforms, with many of these experiences coming to Xbox Game Pass.
  • Xbox Game Pass: You can play Xbox Game Pass games like Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition, and more at the Xbox Booth. Additionally, you'll be able to check out custom-built gaming machines from BoostBoxx.
  • Xbox Official Gear Shop: You can buy Xbox-themed merchandise at Gamescom from acclaimed franchises like Gears of War, Halo, and Sea of Thieves. There will also be a lot of collectibles.

Those going to Gamescom are in for a treat. Be sure to check avail all of these opportunities. Luckily, if you aren't going to Gamescom, you can still stream the Inside Xbox show from the comfort of your home. Plus, the Xbox Official Gear Shop is accessible online so you'll be able to purchase whatever you want.
