Xbox One release roundup for the week of August 29, 2016

The month of August has come to a close, with only a few weeks left until we enter the fall. Like previous years, we're expecting a number of highly anticipated titles to debut in the coming months and make up for the lack of triple-A releases during the summer period.

Among this week's releases, we saw the HD remaster of Capcom's classic third-person horror game, Resident Evil 4. The localized version of Attack on Titan also hit the west earlier this week, set in the same world as both the manga and anime. Indie fans were also treated to a slew of intriguing concepts, including the release of Bulkhead Interactive's The Turing Test and Curve Digital's digital eye-candy, Hue.

Looking forward

Next week is a rather quiet week in terms of game releases, as we prepare for the launch of ReCore, The BioShock Collection and NHL 17 on September 13. With only a small variety of indie games releasing over the seven days, the period is a perfect time to clean up your existing video game backlog.

This list has been compiled from Xbox Store listings at the end of the week, alongside any other notable releases.
