Tropico 6, Farming Simulator 19, Bloodroots, and more join Xbox Game Pass in July
Xbox Game Pass starts a new month with a new selection of games.
What you need to know
- Xbox Game Pass is a comprehensive subscription service that gives users access to hundreds of games.
- Usually twice a month, Microsoft gives a briefing on all of the games joining the service in the next few weeks.
- In July 2021, Xbox Game Pass is being joined by titles like Bloodroots, Tropico 6, and Farming Simulator 19.
- The Medium is also taking advantage of recent upgrades to Xbox Cloud Gaming and joining the service.
Xbox Game Pass took a short break at the beginning of June to make way for the massive Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase during E3 2021, but it looks like things are returning to normal in July. Microsoft just took the wraps off the list of games joining Xbox Game Pass in the first half of July, and there are some great new titles, as well as a few titles expanding their Xbox Game Pass reach.
While games like Tropico 6 and Farming Simulator 19 join the service, The Medium is among the first to take advantage of Xbox Cloud Gaming's recent upgrade to Xbox Series X hardware. That's right, The Medium, an Xbox Series X|S console exclusive, is heading to Xbox Cloud Gaming and will be playable on Android, iOS, and low-powered PCs. We expect this to be the first of many Xbox Series X|S-only games to utilize Xbox Cloud Gaming's new capabilities.
The games on this list can head everywhere that Xbox Game Pass is available, including Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Cloud Gaming. The best games on Xbox Game Pass already include some incredible titles, but new games come all the time to join it. In any case, it might be necessary to think about investing in one of the best external SSDs for Xbox Series X|S to store all of these games.
