The Xbox app for Windows 10 has been updated, bringing across all of the features from the beta version.
As part of the Xbox One Summer Update, the Xbox app for Windows 10 can now upload edited GameDVR clips, share directly to Twitter, link your friends to the Windows 10 People app and much more.
As listed by the Xbox One app's changelog, here are all the latest features:
- Edit and share GameDVR clips with any editor
- Share to Twitter from Xbox app
- Top PC game support, including online presence and game hubs
- Customize your profile - enhanced!
- Better suggestion engine for friends
- See your Xbox friends in the People app on Windows
- Performance and bug fixes
Additionally, this update disables achievement and GameDVR clip sharing by default, as detailed by the message you'll see in your feed depicted above. The app was also recently updated for Windows 10 Mobile, bringing about similar levels of polish in addition to some of the newest features that are relevant for mobile.
The Xbox app now features game hubs for dozens of major PC games, including Overwatch, Counter Strike Global Offensive, and League of Legends. By pressing the Windows key and 'G', you can save, edit, and share clips with friends on Xbox Live, even if you game solely on PC.
This latest update prepares the app for the Xbox One Summer Update, which should land any day now. Stay tuned to Windows Central for the latest Xbox One news.
