Xbox and PC shooter 'Strange Brigade' gets rip-roaring co-op gameplay footage
Strange Brigade brings mummy-slaying action to Xbox One and PC this August.
Strange Brigade is a curious game which blends Egyptian mythology and third-person shooting together. Today, developer Rebellion unveiled new co-op gameplay footage from the title. The trailer features a lot of action and how players must work together to take out ferocious monsters. You also get a taste of the supernatural abilities and devious traps that are scattered around each map.
This new video was captured directly from the unseen "Hidden Valley" level. Strange Brigade might not be the most graphically-advanced title out there, but its visuals still help it stand out. Hopefully it'll be a great experience when it launches in a few months.
According to Rebellion, Strange Brigade follows the story of the "Witch Queen Seteki". Risen from the dead, Seteki commands an army of mummified monstrosities who want to destroy the world. However, it's up to the Strange Brigade, a band of brave adventurers, to fight back. The story is eerily similar to what happens in all The Mummy films.
Strange Brigade is off for rip-roaring escapades on August 28, 2018. The 1930's co-op adventure is currently available for preorder on Xbox One, PC, and PlayStation 4. The game features Xbox One X enhancements as well. Strange Brigade starts at $49.99 for the standard edition, but the $79.99 version contains a season pass which promises new missions in the future.
