Subscriptions also include the option to upgrade to Xbox Project Scarlett after it launches next year.
What you need to know
- Xbox All Access is now available on Amazon.
- The subscription program gets you a console, two years of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and an upgrade to Project Scarlett.
- Plans are available at Amazon now starting at $20 per month.
After launching in the UK and Australia in October and early November, Xbox All Access is now available in the U.S. at Amazon. This marks the subscription program's return after limited availability last year, and prices start as low at $20 per month.
For your money, you'll get your choice of an Xbox One S or Xbox One X, a two-year subscription to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, and the option to upgrade to Microsoft's next console, Project Scarlett, after it launches next year. Here's a look at the consoles available and how the prices break down for each.
- Xbox One S 1TB All-Digital Edition - $19.99 per month
- Xbox One S 1TB Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order bundle - $22.99 per month
- Xbox One S 1TB NBA 2K20 bundle - $22.99 per month
- Xbox One S 1TB Gears 5 bundle - $22.99 per month
- Xbox One X 1TB Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order bundle - $30.99 per month
- Xbox One X 1TB NBA 2K20 bundle - $30.99 per month
- Xbox One X 1TB Gears 5 bundle - $30.99 per month
- Xbox One X 1TB Gears 5 Limited Edition bundle - $30.99 per month
Each subscription bundle requires you to pay the monthly fee over the course of 24 months. After you've paid it off, the console is yours to keep. If you choose an Xbox One X, you'll get the option to upgrade to a Project Scarlett console after 12 months if you buy in to Xbox All Access before the end of 2019. All Xbox One S bundles give you the upgrade option after 18 months.
Overall, if you don't want to plop down the full price of a console at once, Xbox All Access feels like a good option. The inclusion of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate gives you Xbox Live Gold and access to more than 100 games right out of the box for two years. Plus the Scarlett upgrade option is pretty nice for anyone who wants to upgrade to Microsoft's latest and greatest right away next year.
