Worms WMD set to blow up Xbox One and PC in early 2016
Indie superheroes Team 17 just announced Worms WMD for Xbox One and PC.
The latest Worms entry will be fully unveiled next week at Gamescom 2015, and boasts a ton of fresh features for the veteran game franchise.
In Worms WMD, you'll be able to send your units into buildings, offering 'new strategic elements' to the classic turn-based strategy gameplay. Additionally, your worms will be able to pilot vehicles such as tanks, more than likely to counter units hiding in buildings. We'll know for certain after Gamescom, where lucky attendees can go hands-on with a Worms WMD demo version.
Team 17's Marketing Director Mickey Torode noted that 2015 marks 20 years of Worms games, across 25 years of Team 17's existence. The indie label are also bringing a variety of other Xbox One and PC games to Gamescom, such as the gorgeous looking Beyond Eyes, the frantic side-scroller Penarium, and The Escapists: The Walking Dead DLC.
