Wolfenstein: Youngblood invades Xbox One and PC today, achieves native 4K resolution on Xbox One X

What you need to know

  • Wolfenstein: Youngblood is a first-person shooter which launched today.
  • The game takes place many years after the events of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus.
  • Your goal is to go around and shoot as many Nazis as possible, of course.
  • You can purchase it for $30 on the Microsoft Store.

Wolfenstein: Youngblood is the sequel to Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. The game takes place decades after the events of the first game and follows B. J. Blazkowicz twins. Their father has gone missing and it's up to them to find him.

Taking place in France, the game has you take up arms against the Nazis once again, killing them down in some insanely violent ways. Luckily, Wolfenstein: Youngblood features online co-op so you can team up with a friend.

You can purchase Wolfenstein: Youngblood for $30 on Amazon or the Microsoft Store right now. The game is Xbox One X Enhanced and runs at 4K resolution and 60 frames per second on the system. In order to preserve frame rate, the title employs dynamic resolution. However, you have the option to turn it off if you want crystal-clear image quality.

There's a $40 Deluxe Edition available as well which contains numerous cosmetic items. You can buy additional skins through microtransactions.
