Windows SDK for Facebook lets developers bring 'Likes' and more to their apps

Microsoft has announced a new way for app developers to integrate Facebook functionality into their apps. The Windows SDK for Facebook will allow developers to build Facebook login, likes, and graph functions directly into their Windows Phone 8.1, Windows 8.1, or Windows 10 apps.

Here's a list of what the SDK will allow developers to add to their apps:

Authorization

  • Logout
  • Login Button
  • Profile Picture control

Dialogs

  • Feed dialog
  • Request dialog

Graph

  • Custom Stories
  • Post to user's feed
  • Upload Photo
  • Like a Page/Object

The SDK is open source, and can be found on GitHub. If you're developer interested in integrating a bit of Facebook functionality into your app, you can find out more from Microsoft at the source link below.
