Windows Phone App Review: My Blood Pressure
In recognition of the Mobile Nations Fitness Month, we thought we would take a look at a health/fitness oriented Windows Phone app this afternoon. My Blood Pressure is available over at the Windows Phone Marketplace that allows you to easily track your blood pressure readings.
While My Blood Pressure won't take your blood pressure, it logs all three key data elements in the reading (Systolic, Diastolic, and Pulse), note your weight, body mass index and notes about the reading. The main page of My Blood Pressure will show your average, highest and lowest readings.
My Blood Pressure is well laid out with button controls on the main page to chart your readings, add a new reading, view your reading history, and access the options. You also have the customary about and review the app buttons as well. The charting option provides six charting styles that will cover user selected dates. You can chart BP by time or date, chart your BMI/Weight history, chart BP and BMI/Weight, chart your BP Zones and chart your BMI zones.
My Blood Pressure has live tile support that will display your average BP reading and alert you if your last reading was more than 24 hours old. Another nice feature with My Blood Pressure is that when you first launch the app you establish a user name and password. This will allow you to pull the BP data from the developers server and access the data via computer (you can find the PC app here).
My Blood Pressure is a nice option for your Windows Phone that allows you to track and monitor your blood pressure history. There is a free trial available for My Blood Pressure and the full version will run you $.99.
You can find My Blood Pressure here at the Windows Phone Marketplace.
