Windows 10 build 17134 now rolling out for Insiders using HoloLens
Insiders with HoloLens are now receiving build 17134 of Redstone 4, which comes packing a few notable changes as the company finalizes this release.
HoloLens Insiders who flashed the Redstone 4 FFU are now receiving build 17134 through Windows Update that comes packing a few new changes and enhancements. Build 17134 recently rolled out for Desktop and Xbox, and is now rolling out for HoloLens too.
HoloLens has received several Redstone 4 preview builds since Microsoft released the Redstone 4 FFU for HoloLens. So far, Microsoft has not started rolling out Redstone 4 as an OTA update for those still running the Anniversary Update, and Insiders can't opt-in to receive it early via OTA either. To get Redstone 4, you must manually flash the Redstone 4 FFU onto your device first, and then enrol into the Insider Preview Program.
What's new in build 17134?{.nofollow}
- General changes, improvements, and fixes:
- Reliability issues for exclusive apps.
- Interactions while moving slates and blooming.
- Cortana/Skype integration.
- Speech in OOBE stability.
- UWP app reliability with mouse/gamepad integration.
Build 17134 is the build Microsoft is hoping to push out to the public on all platforms once Redstone 4 is ready. Microsoft recently had issues with build 17133, which was the original sign-off build of Redstone 4 before Microsoft found a last minute blocking bug. Hopefully the same doesn't happen with this build.
