What you need to know

  • 343 Industries has announced a collaboration with Butterfinger and some other candy bar brands.
  • By buying two candy bars from participating brands in the same transaction, players will unlock four exclusive emblems for Halo Infinite.
  • This promotion ends February 15, 2021.

Halo developer 343 Industries has announced a promotional collaboration with the candy bar brand Butterfinger as well as other sweet snack giants like Babe Ruth and Crunch. From now until February 15, 2021, the purchase of any two Butterfinger, Crunch, Baby Ruth, or 100 Grand bars in the same transaction will give fans an opportunity to scan their receipt and unlock a DLC code that can be used to unlock four exclusive emblems in Halo Infinite. The Tweet below shows off the emblems in all of their brightly-colored glory.

What do you think of these emblems? Will you be buying some candy bars to unlock them? Let me know, and make sure you check out the promotional event's homepage for details on redeeming your receipt and getting your code. Unfortunately we won't actually get to use these emblems until Halo Infinite's expected launch in Fall 2021, but at least players will have them ready for immediate use when the game does come out.

Halo Infinite is expected to launch in Fall 2021 for $60 on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One consoles, and Windows 10 PCs. While you wait for the game, we highly recommend Halo: The Master Chief Collection. The game offers all of the pre-Xbox One Halo shooters in one bundle for just $40, making it one of the best Xbox One shooters available today.
