Where's the best place to buy Microsoft's Surface Laptop 3?
So, where should you buy?
The question about which retailer to choose largely comes down to which size of the Surface Laptop 3 you'd like. People who want the 13-inch version of the device should buy from Amazon because of their better shipping speed and Protection Plan options that can effectively give you up to a four-year warranty, while people who want the bigger 15-inch variant should opt to stick with Microsoft, as it's $100 less expensive on Microsoft than it is on Amazon.
What makes the Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 special?
Regardless of whether you choose the 13-inch variant or the 15-inch version of the Microsoft Surface Laptop 3, you'll love the device. It's outfitted with either a 13.5-inch 2256x1504 display or a 15-inch 2496x1664 one for the smaller and larger variants respectively, and the laptop also has Intel's 10th Gen CPUs and can be configured with up to 32GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The 15-inch version can also be configured with an AMD Ryzen 7 custom CPU and a AMD Vega 11, if you want to get a little more power. This is the first AMD-powered Surface device ever, so it's a bit of a big deal.
In terms of physical design, the laptop is pretty easy to carry at just 2.79 pounds (13-inch) and 3.4 pounds (15-inch). It also comes with a Windows Hello camera, as well as a nice USB-C port.
Small size, big value
Though it isn't as powerful as it's larger cousin can be, the 13-inch version of the Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 will make it an excellent travel laptop.
Perfect for home use
With a bigger screen and some slightly better hardware, the 15-inch version of the Microsoft Surface Laptop 3 is an excellent laptop to choose for home or office use.
