When does the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 launch?
So, when exactly does it release?
The Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 is slated to release on November 3 at 11:00 PM ET (Eastern Time), according to Microsoft. This means that depending on what your timezone is, it will become available either on November 3 or on November 4. If you're going to try and buy it the second it's available, make sure to compare your timezone to Eastern Time to see when the controller will release for you. Of course, you can simply preorder it right now, as well.
Why get the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2?
If you want the best of the best, the Xbox Elite Controller Series 2 will be right up your alley. Compared to the first Elite Controller, this one sports many quality-of-life improvements, such as more durable plastics and hinges, rubber grips that have adhesive, and tension control for thumbsticks that give you a ton of power over your aim in-game. Also, the controller has Bluetooth connectivity Project xCloud usage, and also a massive battery life of 40 hours per charge. Finally, all of the great features of the first Elite Controller make a return here. These include all of the different D-Pads, thumbsticks, and buttons that you can choose to use, as well as lockable triggers and paddle buttons on the back of the controller. It's pricey, but if the best of the best is what your heart is set on, it doesn't get better than this.
Probably the best controller ever
With improved parts and durability, the Series 2 is everything the original Elite controller should have been and much more, but it's still very pricey.
