What you need to know

  • WatchGuard Technologies released endpoint security for Windows 10 on ARM devices through Panda Adaptive Defense 360.
  • The protection utilizes the always-on, always-connected nature of Windows 10 on ARM PCs to offer continual protection.
  • Panda Adaptive Defense 360 utilizes artificial intelligence to certify programs as safe.

Because Windows 10 on ARM PCs are always-on and always-connected, they can provide real-time endpoint security. WatchGuard highlights three key benefits of using Panda Adaptive Defense 360 on Windows 10 on ARM PCs; Zero-Trust Application Service, Threat Hunting Service, and Always-Connected Device Security.

Zero-Trust Application Service uses machine learning to classify running processes and monitor endpoint activity. It then proactively blocks malicious payloads. It sends out real-time classifications to make sure that running apps are safe. Because Windows 10 on ARM PCs can be continually connected to the web, people can get telemetry in real-time.

Threat Hunting Service uses tools from WatchGuard to look for new hacking and evasion techniques. Like other forms of protection from WatchGuard, this benefits from the always-on, always-connected nature of Windows 10 on ARM PCs.

Always-Connected Device Security refers to devices being able to switch between 5G, 4G LTE, and Wi-Fi to stay connected. In addition to making it easy to stay off of public Wi-Fi, Qualcomm's AI Engine helps deliver real-time visibility and accelerated threat detection when connected to the web.

"Our Panda Adaptive Defense 360 service brings automated threat prevention, detection, containment and response to devices utilizing Snapdragon compute platforms, ensuring today's workforces can enjoy the premium performance, connectivity and security on industry-leading Windows-based Snapdragon compute-enabled 5G PCs," explains WatchGuard.

WatchGuard recommends that people interested in Panda Adaptive Defense 360 for Windows 10 on ARM PCs should reach out through WatchGuard distributors.
