What you need to know

  • Wasteland 3 is the latest game to come out of Xbox Game Studios, from inXile Entertainment.
  • The game has been garnering incredible critical acclaim for its well-done story, combat, and RPG mechanics.
  • Wasteland 3 is now available for purchase, and is also included in Xbox Game Pass.

Wasteland 3, the game that has been collecting near-perfect review scores, is officially out and ready to be played by the public. This incredible, post-apocalyptic RPG from inXile Entertainment shows that the classic RPG formula is far from dead, and in fact can lead to hundreds of hours of intense, humorous, and madly addictive entertainment.

Wasteland 3 sees players enter a world destroyed by nuclear war hundreds of years into the future. Rather than sit around and mope about it, your character will descend into the chaotic and war-torn Colorado as part of the Arizona Rangers, one of the last vestiges of law and order remaining in the land, to try and secure new trade routes for your people. Suffice to say, things do not at all go the way you intend, and instead fall further into madness.

If Wasteland 3 seems like it's up your alley, be sure to grab the game directly from Microsoft. Subscribers to Xbox Game Pass can also enjoy Wasteland 3 at no additional cost right now until the end of time, further increasing the value offered by the service. However you choose to play the game, you're in for a treat.
