Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide runs at native 4K resolution on Xbox One X
Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide took the Xbox One community by storm because no one expected it to that addictive. Many gamers have been asking for Xbox One X enhancements and today we finally heard what the studio did to take advantage of the console.
Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide runs at native 4K on Xbox One X and 1440p on PlayStation 4 Pro. An interview between WCCFtech and Producer Robert Bäckström revealed this information. When asked about the technical details of the game on each platform, Bäckström said the following.
It's great to see developers make use of the 1.8 teraflops advantage the Xbox One X has over the PlayStation 4 Pro to push higher resolutions. The jump from 1440p to native 4K should result in a clearer picture on 4K displays. Upscaling 1440p images to a 4K display causes them to be quite blurry in comparison. It's a shame that the game won't feature HDR because it makes color pop.
