Since it was announced at BlizzCon 2018, eager fans have been wondering when they'd be able to play or at least try out Warcraft III: Reforged, a remaster of original RTS game and its expansion. For those fans, we have some fantastic news. A press release has confirmed that the Warcraft III: Reforged beta is set to begin this week, with invites rolling out in waves over the next few weeks.
The first players to get invites will be those who have preordered the Spoils of War edition of the game, which comes with some extra digital bonuses like Starcraft II skins, Overwatch sprays and more. Additional invites will be sent out in the weeks after the initial wave. The multiplayer beta will begin with the human and orc factions, with 1v1 and 2v2 gameplay modes, while the undead and night elf factions will be added at a later point in the beta.
Blizzard has a busy couple of weeks ahead of it, with BlizzCon 2019 almost here, several rumored games like Diablo 4 inbound, updates coming to games like Heroes of the Storm and an ongoing PR crisis.
