VAIO Phone Biz with Windows 10 Mobile finally goes on sale in Japan
VAIO, the former PC division of Sony, has started selling its first Windows 10 Mobile phone, the Phone Biz, in its native Japan. The price for the phone is ¥59,184, or about $530.
VAIO first announced their Windows 10 Mobile plans back in October, and we got a chance to go hands-on with the Phone Biz in February at MWC 2016. At that time, VAIO said the phone would be priced at about ¥50,000, but it looks like that the final price was well above that estimate.
The VAIO Phone Biz has a 5.5-inch full HD display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor, 3GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing camera. It does support Continuum via a wireless connection to a display, but it does not include support for a hardware dock.
VAIO has already indicated there are no plans to sell the Phone Biz beyond its native Japan, but if you do live there you can get the phone right now from the company's website.
