U.S. Bing Rewards members can save big on Xbox Live Gold subscriptions until June 30
Members of Microsoft's Bing Rewards program in the U.S. can get one month, three months or 12 months of Xbox Live Gold membership for much lower points levels from now until June 30.
Bing Rewards is Microsoft's way to give points to people who use the Bing search service on their PC or mobile device. The points can be redeemed for e-gift cards, sweepstakes entries and more. In this case, they can be used to get Xbox Live Gold memberships for your Xbox One or Xbox 360 console.
Until June 30, the points threshold for a one-month Xbox Live Gold subscription in Bing Rewards is 500, rather than the normal 699 points. Three months of Xbox Live Gold is currently available for 1,000 Bing Rewards points, and if you have been hoarding them, you can get 12 months of Xbox Live Gold for 2,999 points, or 2,899 if you have reached the Bing Rewards Gold level.
Xbox Live Gold allows for multiplayer online access for Xbox One and Xbox 360 games, plus up to four free games every month for as long as you keep your subscription. It also offers special weekly discounts on digital games.
