UK retailer lists Surface Pro LTE for preorder
At least one retailer has now opened up preorders for the new Surface Pro with LTE.
Alongside the debut of the new Surface Pro in May, Microsoft confirmed that it would eventually release an LTE version of the device. There still hasn't been any official word from Microsoft on when the LTE version may arrive, but, as spotted by Twitter user Reve (via Neowin), one UK retailer has opened up preorders.
Misco has two models on preorder, both pegged for a December delivery. Both come equipped with an Intel Core i5 processor, with the only differences coming in their total amount of RAM and storage space. The first, which comes loaded with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, is listed at £1,132.80 with VAT. Meanwhile, a slightly beefier model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is listed for £1,402.80 with VAT.
Though the humble Surface 3 did have an LTE option, this will mark the first time that LTE has been available on a Surface Pro. It's expected that we might see Microsoft officially announce prices and preorder dates at its Future Decoded event, which begins on October 31. If that's the case, we should see preorders open up from more retailers then.
