Trine 4 and Trine: Ultimate Collection land on Xbox One
We've waited years for this.
What you need to know
- Trine 4 is the latest installment in the popular platforming series.
- It's finally available on Xbox One alongside the Trine: Ultimate Collection.
- Only Trine 4 will be enhanced for Xbox One X.
- You can purchase Trine: Ultimate Collection for $50 through the Microsoft Store.
The Trine series is an amazing set of platformers from the Xbox 360 generation. For some odd reason, the updated versions of the past games made their way to PlayStation 4, but didn't land on Xbox One. Luckily, that changed today because alongside Trine 4, Trine: Ultimate Collection is available as a native game.
Whenever a popular game launches, gamers want to know how it runs on Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro (PS4 Pro). According to an interview with developer Frozenbyte, the title will only be enhanced for Xbox One X and not PS4 Pro. The team will reevaluate PS4 Pro support after launch.
Trine 4 costs $30, but Trine: Ultimate Collection comes in at $50. I would recommend purchasing the Ultimate Collection because you get four games instead of just one. Plus, the Ultimate Collection even contains Trine 4.
