Upcoming strategy title Total War: Warhammer 3 has a release date of Feb. 17, 2022 and it's coming to Xbox Game Pass for PC on day one. Total War: Warhammer 3 is the finale to the trilogy of Warhammer games developed by Creative Assembly and published by Sega. This third entry pits the vast empire of Grand Cathay and the icy kingdom of Kislev against the four dark gods and their daemonic hordes.
This game is the first time that Grand Cathay has been seen as a playable faction, with Creative Assembly working to flesh out this empire under the guidance of Games Workshop. Total War: Warhammer 3 may realize the vision of the tabletop games, as players who own all three games will be able to connect them through a post-launch update into one massive mega-campaign.
Depending on how the launch goes, this could be one of the best PC games available. Creative Assembly also notes that it is hoping to bring the prior two games and myriad DLC packs to the Microsoft Store in the future, though there's no exact date right now.
The Ruinous Powers awaken
Total War: Warhammer 3 promises an incredible amount of content for players to enjoy. If you preorder, you'll also get a yet-unrevealed race pack. Best of all, if you have the first two games, you'll be able to combine them sometime after launch into one ultra-Warhammer campaign.
