Techland announces free Dying Light content for February

Dying Light is a first-person survival horror game which requires you to withstand a zombie apocalypse in Turkey. Every since it came out, the game has garnered a significant following and even to this day gamers play it regularly. Dying Light is now three years old and the developer is celebrating the game's anniversary by releasing a lot of actives and other surprises over the coming month.

Some of the content coming to Dying Light in February is listed below.

  • Free giveaways on Steam and Gemly.
  • Valentine's Day community bounty called Undying Love.
  • Content Drop #3 adds free in-game content for all players and platforms.
  • Discounts for the game and add-ons for up to 67 percent off.

It's nice to see the developer aggressively supporting its game even after all these years. Usually, studios move onto the next project just as quickly as one comes out. Dying Light's Producer Tymon Smektała issued the following statement in response to the game's continued success.

Dying Light's longevity is a result of the studio's hard work, combined with the efforts of our community, who have shown unparalleled love for the game and spent countless hours in Harran. We are nothing but thankful for this exceptional commitment and players' eagerness to provide us with constructive feedback that helped us make a better game.

Dying Light has been played by over thirteen million gamers, with more than 500,000 unique players roaming the city of Harran every week. Last year at E3 2017, Techland committed to delivering ten free add-ons in the next year, extending the lifespan of the title by introducing new enemies, locations, and gameplay mechanics.
