Microsoft Surface Pro 3

The Surface Pro 3 has picked up its first firmware update in several months, focusing on improving general device security.

Surface users are in for a special round of updates in response to the recently disclosed Meltdown and Spectre exploits, Microsoft says.

I've been using Surface devices as a primary computers since the Surface RT launched back in 2012. Going back to something more 'traditional' simply isn't an option anymore.

So, the Surface 3 is here. It's not alone since it joins up with it's much more established, bigger sibling, the Surface Pro 3. So, how does the newcomer stack up?
