Halo Timeline

After the firing of the Halos, the galaxy began to rebuild. Forerunner artifacts left behind from the past were in abundance — and two species, the Sangheili and the San'Shyuum, went to war over a disagreement about how they were to be used.

Following the birth of the Covenant, the new Sangheili-San'Shyuum coalition explored the galaxy searching for Forerunner artifacts — and along the way encountered several species that they would come to integrate into the alliance.

After a complete defeat at the hands of the Forerunners in the ancient times, humanity grew to rebuild and once again thrive on Earth — and beyond. This is the story of the rise of humanity in Halo's current era.

Following the destruction of Installation 04, the Covenant arrived on Earth. But strangely, they were not expecting humanity to be there.

The origins of the Halo universe can be traced back to an ancient race of super advanced beings known as the Precursors. This is their story — and the beginning of the story of the Forerunners.

After the deployment of the Spartan-IIs in 2525, the UNSC began to effectively destroy the Insurrection in the Outer Colonies. However, a devastating alien empire would arrive at the colony Harvest — one that would threaten our entire existence.

After five long years of drawn out, costly fighting, the UNSC finally drove the Covenant off of Harvest. But unbeknownst to them, the alien empire had much bigger plans — plans to access a cache of Forerunner warships that could decimate humanity.

After the destruction of Alpha Halo, 343 Guilty Spark traveled to the nearby Forerunner gas mine on the planet Threshold. There, he met Sesa 'Refumee, a Sangheili sent to secure the facility.

Though the Prophet of Regret left Earth, the Covenant forces there continued their brutal conquest of New Mombasa.
