Midrange Surface Laptop Go now cheaper than base model for back-to-school
You can grab a Surface Laptop Go at a great value before going back to school this fall.
Microsoft's Surface Laptop Go is down to just $532 through Office Depot right now. The compact laptop is one of the best Surface PCs and a great laptop for students. The current deal on the Surface Laptop is for the Intel Core i5 model with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of SSD storage. That's actually cheaper than what Microsoft is selling the entry-level model for at the moment.
The Surface Laptop Go is a compact laptop that's a great option for students or anyone who needs a lightweight PC. It's discounted just in time for back-to-school season.
In our Surface Laptop Go review, our executive editor Daniel Rubino called the device a "fun and lovely little laptop." The laptop earned a 4.5/5 rating for its hardware, design, display, and battery life. The Surface Laptop Go comes in Platinum, Ice Blue, and Sandstone, but only the Platinum and Sandstone models appear to be on sale through Office Depot. If you want one in a different color, Microsoft has every color on sale, though they aren't as discounted as ones through Office Depot.
If you order the midrange model, you get more than just additional storage and RAM. The middle model includes a fingerprint reader for Windows Hello that isn't in the base model.
When Rubino wrote his review, the midrange model was $150 more than the base model. With its current deal the midrange model is almost $20 less than the model with only 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
