Star Wars: Squadrons is getting DLC from The Mandalorian
Let Baby Yoda join you on your Galactic adventure.
What you need to know
- Star Wars: Squadrons is a space combat game that puts players in the shoes of a New Republic and Imperial pilot.
- The Mandalorian's second season debuts on Disney+ on October 30th.
- Ahead of season 2 of The Mandalorian, Star Wars: Squadrons is getting some new in-game items inspired by the show.
Disney heard you can't get enough of The Mandalorian so it's adding some new in-game items to Star Wars: Squadrons this week. The update is set to bring new cockpit cosmetics for each faction, including one hologram, one decal, one dashboard flair, and one hanging flair for both Imperial and New Republic starfighters.
These are all cool as we can see there will be IG-88, the Razor Crest, and Beskar ingots among other items, but the really special one is Baby Yoda himself (labelled as the mysterious creature, of course). You won't have to wait long to grab these items because the supply drop is coming on October 28, just two days before The Mandalorian Season 2 premieres on Disney+.
Season 2 of The Mandalorian will see Mando tasked with finding the remaining Jedi and reuniting Baby Yoda with his people. Characters like Ahsoka Tano are rumored to show up, but have not been confirmed. Whatever the case, next season is sure to be full of surprises.
5v5, Empire vs New Republic
Star Wars: Squadrons places players in Vanguard Squadron or Titan Squadron with vicious dogfights and a variety of different starships. It's even got full cross-play, so you can play with your friends no matter where you buy it.
