Marvel's Avengers continues to grow with the recent War for Wakanda expansion launching. On Wednesday, Square Enix shared a roadmap for the future of Marvel's Avengers through the rest of 2021. While there's nothing quite as big incoming as the massive expansion that just dropped, there's still a lot for players to look forward to over the coming months.
For starters, with the game's anniversary coming up, Crystal Dynamics is giving out celebratory rewards for players like a nameplate and free hero outfits. Further out, a Power Level cap increase is coming sometime during the Fall or Winter, with players able to upgrade their existing Level 100 Epic, Exotic and Legendary gear all the way up to the new cap of Power Level 175.
There's also the arrival of the game's first Raid, which will see players confronting Klaw. System reworks are underway, including the ability to earn cosmetics through gameplay, like outfits that were only available in the Marketplace prior to the reworks.
Spider-Man is also still set to arrive in Marvel's Avengers but only on PS4 and PS5. There will also be some tie-in events coming to the game, designed to synergize with Disney+ and Marvel, alongside new MCU-inspired outfits for the roster of playable heroes.
Now is the best time to give this game a chance
With next-gen upgrades and a ton of content to play, including the arrival of Black Panther and Wakanda soon, there has never been a better time to get into Marvel's Avengers.
