Spyro Reignited Trilogy delayed until November
Spyro needs another month to get ready.
After weeks of speculation, Activision revealed Spyro Reignited Trilogy to the world a few months ago. The company previously stated that he was "all scaled up and ready to flare up" on September 21, 2018, but that won't be happening. Today, developer Toys for Bob provided a statement to IGN, announcing a delay until November 13, 2018.
While no one predicted the delay, there were signs that development wasn't going so smoothly. For example, the fact that only one game was ready in time to ship on the disc pointed towards such issues.
Activision also said that the company wanted Spyro Reignited Trilogy to "not only lives up to fans' expectations, but our own incredibly high standards. Spyro fans deserve the best game possible, so we've decided to take some extra time to polish all three games and deliver the definitive Spyro collection on our new launch day."
Hopefully the game will be a polished experience when it launches on Xbox One and other platforms this holiday season. We'll keep you posted as soon as we know more about the game, like its Xbox One X enhancements.
