Sniper Elite V2 Remastered rated in Australia
That's quite the upgrade.
The Sniper Elite series is well regarded in the gaming industry due to its good storytelling and excellent sniper rifle mechanics. The X-ray camera adds another twist to gameplay because you want to see what will happen if you target certain body parts. We all know people don't go for a headshot all the time. There are countless videos on YouTube from the Sniper Elite series focused on these other shots.
Today, Rebellion and 505 Games were issued an "MA 15+" rating for a game called "Sniper Elite V2 Remastered" in Australia. While many gamers were expected Sniper Elite 5, a remastered version of one of the best sniping titles out there won't disappoint if done well. Hopefully the remaster will use the new Sniper Elite 4 engine so that it looks better than ever. Maybe the companies will officially reveal the project soon now that it's been rated by the Australian Classification agency.
MA 15+ isn't the strongest rating, but it's up there. Giving the fact that you're going around shooting a lot of Nazis, it's understandable why it's that high. Killing Nazis never gets old so there should be a lot of interest in this game. Hopefully the technical foundations are solid this time around so that it garners better scores on Metacritic.
