This slim Lenovo laptop is a great last-minute holiday gift at $200 off
Let's face it: A lot of us haven't finished our holiday shopping yet. We mean to get it done early every year, but the time slips by and before you know it, it's the week before Christmas and we're scrambling. Just me?
If you've got a laptop on your list of gift ideas this year, B&H is running a pretty great deal on a Lenovo notebook that makes an excellent last-minute gift. The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7 is $200 off at B&H, knocking it down to just $799. For that price, it's a heck of a solid buy.
This Lenovo laptop is an excellent buy at $799, and you can get it before Christmas if you jump on it now.
The Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7 is a 15.6-inch laptop with a crisp 1080p display, so you've got plenty of space to work with. It's backed up with Intel's 10th Gen Core i7 processor, which provides enough horsepower for most people to get along without a hitch. With 16GB of RAM, it's unlikely to feel sluggish, too (well, unless you have 100 Chrome tabs open).
That's all paired up with 512GB of storage, which most people will never completely fill. If you need more, there's a Thunderbolt 3 port that you can hook up to an external drive to get the maximum transfer speeds possible. Or, if you've got some SD cards lying around, you can slot one into the included SD card reader.
Lenovo claims you'll get up to 15 hours of battery life on a single charge. The only downside here is you're stuck with integrated graphics, so you're not going to get much use out of this laptop for gaming. If that's not a priority you're seeking in a laptop, though, it's hard to do much better for $799.
