The Sims FreePlay is getting into the holiday spirit on Windows Phone. We reviewed The Sims FreePlay back in early October and walked away impressed with the amount of Sims content you can pack into a mobile game. The game has just received an update that brings a set of new features and items just in time for the holidays.
Head to the Windows Phone Store and you’ll see a new update for The Sims FreePlay. That puts the game at version 1.2.0.0 and brings a ton of new content that is all holiday specific. Here are some of the features you can look forward to in the latest update to the game:
- Help Santa find his elves
- Make presents
- Get rid of the grouch
- Unlock reindeers
- Celebrate New Year’s Eve with a bang
We'll be installing the game/update and taking a look at it soon. In the meantime, tell us what you think below of the latest festive additions.
The game is free (various in-app purchases) in the Windows Phone Store and works on devices with both Windows Phone 8 and 1GB of RAM. Download clocks in at 555 MB. Grab it from the Windows Phone Store today.
Thanks, David B., for the tip!
