The second DLC pack for The Outer Worlds is called Murder on Eridanos, Xbox Series X Optimized version coming

- The Outer Worlds is a role-playing game (RPG) developed by Obsidian Entertainment and published by Private Division.
- Two DLC packs are being released for The Outer Worlds: Peril on Gorgon and Murder on Eridanos.
- The Outer Worlds is also being optimized for Xbox Series X.
During the recent Xbox Games Showcase, Obsidian Entertainment revealed that it is releasing two DLC packs for its 2019 RPG The Outer Worlds. The first of these DLCs was announced with the title Peril on Gorgon, with a release date of September 9, 2020.
Thanks to Xbox Wire, we now know that the second DLC pack coming in 2021 is called Murder on Eridanos. Peril on Gorgon and Murder on Eridanos are both $15 separately, or $25 together via an Expansion Pass. Xbox Wire also confirmed that The Outer Worlds will be optimized for Xbox Series X.
Both DLCs are also introducing new armor sets and new perks, as well as mysterious and zany new science weapons. We have a full list of the unique guns, armor and science weapons in The Outer Worlds which we'll be updating as the DLC arrives.
Obsidian Entertainment has been extremely busy since being acquired by Microsoft and added to Xbox Game Studios. In addition to continuing to add to The Outer Worlds, there's teams working on survival game Grounded and upcoming fantasy RPG Avowed.
