Xbox Series X/S Storage Expansion Card at its lowest ever price right now in the UK
A rare opportunity to get the Xbox Expansion Card with a big discount.
If you own an Xbox Series X or Xbox Series S, one of the best accessories you can buy is the official Seagate Xbox Storage Expansion Card. The problem is that normally it costs nearly as much as buying an Xbox Series S on its own.
Fortunately, UK Xbox owners have a rare opportunity right now to get hold of one for £40 less than its normal asking price. Which is enough to recommend anyone who's been on the fence to grab one immediately.
Expensive, yes, but if you own one of the new Xbox Series consoles the quality of life improvements you get with one of these makes it worth it in the long run. When it's discounted like this there's no better time to buy.
The Seagate Xbox Storage Expansion Card has one important advantage over just using an external USB 3.0 hard drive; speed. The card has been designed by Microsoft to offer the same level of performance as the internal drives on the Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. All despite being plugged into the back of the console.
What this means is that you can use it to store and play Xbox Series X|S optimized games. A regular USB hard drive is only suitable for Xbox One games, anything optimized for the new consoles has to be run from one of these or from the internal drive. They're plug and play, too, so if you have multiple consoles in your house, you only need to install the games on one card and you can swap it between them.
There's no telling how long it'll be at this price so be sure to take advantage while you can.
