The Seagate Expansion 14TB hard drive has dropped to a low price of $245
The Seagate Expansion 14TB USB 3.0 external desktop hard drive is down to $244.99 on Amazon. It normally sells for $270 and was going as high as $320 in June. It's still priced that high on the Seagate website. Adorama has actually matched the low Amazon price, though, so you can get it there for $245 as well.
That's the lowest price ever for this 14TB hard drive, and it's only the second time it has ever gone this low. The price is so good the 12TB version is actually more expensive at $250. You're getting two terabytes more and paying less for it.
I mean, 14TB is a ridiculous amount of space for a hard drive! Don't worry about having to put it inside your computer, either, because it will sit right on your desktop. It has storage that will last you for years. You can keep all your big files on it, and you don't have to worry about adding more. Fill it up with movies, photos, music, and anything else you can think of.
The drive is plug-and-play, too. Just connect it to your computer and it will automatically work. The system should recognize it and get it working for you. You won't need to install any software or drivers. And once it's up and working you can transfer your files with simple drag and drop. It's compatible with both Windows and Mac computers.
It does have a power adapter in addition to the USB connection to your PC. This external hard drive comes with an 18-inch USB 3.0 cable and an 18W power adapter. Seagate also backs it up with a one-year warranty.
