Sea of Thieves continues to improve at an alarming rate with the release of Season 2 for Sea of Thieves today. Season 2 adds a huge amount of new content and rewards for the 20 million people who have played Sea of Thieves, and continues to hammer in why you should be playing Sea of Thieves in 2021. There's a new trailer that breaks down some of the new features players can expect from Sea of Thieves Season 2.
First and foremost, Season 2 of Sea of Thieves includes 100 new tiers of exclusive rewards that players can progress through, along with a wide range of Trials and Deeds to help them along. For dedicated Sea of Thieves players, the Season 2 Plunder Pass will offer you an expanded batch of premium rewards for progressing through Season 2.
There's also new gameplay for Trading Company Emissaries, and new reasons to play with more rewards, access to raw commodities, and more. If you're more interested in honing your combat skills than your merchant skills, Forts of Fortune are more challenging versions of Skeleton Forts that offer high-level loot for conquering them.
There are other events, changes, and rewards planned for Sea of Thieves Season 2, highlighting why Sea of Thieves continues to be one of the best games on Xbox and the best games on Xbox Game Pass. Sea of Thieves is now available on Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Xbox One, and PC.
