Save at least $35 on the Razer BlackShark V2 gaming headset while you can
Ready to get one of the best PC gaming headsets of 2022 at a discounted price? The Razer BlackShark V2 is on sale for $64.99 through Woot, a daily deals site owned by Amazon. That's a rare $35 discount off the headset's regular price. This is a brand new headset, too, and the only caveat to the deal really is that the one design available at this price is a color scheme inspired by CourageJD, the streamer and YouTube personality. If you're a fan of his that shouldn't be a problem, and if you have no idea who that is you can justify wearing it because of it's super inexpensive price. It's a win-win, really.
Woot does have a mandatory shipping fee, so you'll have to consider that in the price. The only way around it is if you happen to be an Amazon Prime member. Use your Prime to save a few bucks.
You can also save on the upgraded version of this headset, the BlackShark V2 Pro. It is currently down to $139.99 at Amazon, which is $40 off its regular price and just $10 above its lowest price ever that it hit over Black Friday. Read more about the Pro in our review that gave it 4.5 stars out of 5 and a Recommended badge. While the cost is obviously something to consider, you are saving a nice chunk of change here and the Pro improves on the regular version in a lot of ways.
The regular BlackShark V2 is a very capable headset, and it has enough features that you'll feel your money is well spent. For one thing, you get THX 7.1 surround sound capabilities, which includes spatial audio that helps you pinpoint accurately where sounds (like enemies sneaking up on you) are coming from. It also has memory foam ear cushions so every time you put this headset on your head feels like the first time. The improved density also helps ensure the headset stays breathable and minimizes any heat build up over time.
Get awesome audio, too, thanks to the triforce titanium 50mm sound drivers with titanium-coated diaphragms. You'll get powerful lows, clear highs, and great audio all around. The detachable cardioid mic can cut off ambient noise, too, so while you're talking to your team they aren't hearing everything going on in your game at the same time.
