Samsung Saga Gets Official on Verizon
Verizon has officially announced the Samsung Saga, after long months of rumors about the i770/Saga. Specs are just what we'd expected: namely it's a Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro device with a 320x320 touchscreen (2.55“), front-facing QWERTY, WiFi, Bluetooth, 2MP camera, a 1300 mAh battery, and a SIM card slot for EDGE access around the world. Go on an read the press release if you have doubts. They also tossed in Opera Mobile (we're not sure on the version yet) and the same sort of Samsung touches we saw on the Epxi. Yes, that includes the optical mouse, which we're guessing is pretty much going to be standard on Samsung WinMo devices for the foreseeable future, for good or ill. Mostly ill.
You can pick it up online right now for $199 after rebates, or wait until December 1st to grab it in a brick and mortar store.
