Samsung reveals ATIV Book 9 Pro and ATIV Book 9 Spin Windows 10 notebooks
Samsung is still making notebooks and it has now revealed two new models with Windows 10 Home pre-installed. One is the ATIV Book 9 Pro, which will include a 3840x2160 display, while the other is the ATIV Book 9 Spin convertible, featuring a 360 degree hinge for its screen for use in tented and tablet mode.
As the name suggests, the Samsung ATIV Book 9 Pro is meant for power PC users. The 4.45-pound notebook has a 15.6-inch display with an Intel Core i7 6700HQ processor, 8GB of RAM and a 256GB SSD. It also has a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M Graphics chip inside, and its battery life is supposed to last up to 6.5 hours. It will be priced at $1,599.
The ATIV Book 9 Spin, while not as powerful as the Book 9 Pro, still has some impressive hardware. The 2.7 pound notebook has a 13.3-inch display with a resolution of 3200x1800. It has an Intel Core i7 6500U processor, and it also has 8GB of RAM and a 256 SSD, but lacks a dedicated GPU. It has a slightly longer battery life at up to 7.3 hours and will be priced at $1,399.
Both notebooks will go on sale later in November and will be available to buy at Samsung's website and at Best Buy.
