Bethesda and Xbox roundtable event coming later today, 'not focused' on news or reveals
No big teases or surprises should be expected but instead, a look at just what this big merger means.
What you need to know
- Bethesda is now officially part of Xbox.
- A roundtable discussion with Bethesda leadership is being held at 1:00 p.m ET today.
- It won't be focused on news or reveals but instead talking about what the move means for Bethesda as a whole.
Microsoft recently finalized its acquisition of ZeniMax Media, meaning that Bethesda is now part of Xbox. To continue celebrating this massive expansion of the Xbox first-party family, Xbox and Bethesda are holding a roundtable discussion later today at 1:00 p.m. ET, which you'll be able to find at the YouTube link below.
It's important to note that per Aaron Greenberg, GM of Marketing at Xbox, this discussion isn't focused on news and reveals. Instead, it'll be a chance to get insight into how different members of Bethesda feel about joining Xbox and hearing stories from the past. In other words: don't expect to see Starfield here.
One bit of news we should get soon is a full list of Bethesda games coming to Xbox Game Pass. A listing for The Evil Within already popped up but there should be more titles confirmed soon.
With Bethesda Softworks joining Xbox Game Studios as first-party, Xbox now consists of 23 development studios around the world.
Xbox Game Pass and Xbox Live Gold in one
Xbox Game Pass gives you access to over 200 games for one monthly fee. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate also adds Xbox Live Gold to the package so you can play online with your friends. You also get access to EA Play.
