Rockstar has some big Red Dead Redemption news in store next week
Rockstar is gearing up to break its silence about Red Dead Redemption 2 with an announcement next week.
News around Red Dead Redemption 2 has been fairly bare ever since it was first announced, but Rockstar is now teasing an announcement is on the horizon. If you've been eagerly awaiting new bits of information around the highly anticipated game, you'll only have to wait until next week.
Aside from the actual teaser, there's no indication as to what we can actually expect, unfortunately. All Rockstar has released is an image decked out in Read Dead flair that reveals the date of the announcement: Thursday, September 28 at 11 a.m. ET.

Red Dead Redemption 2 was originally pegged for an autumn 2017 release date, but that was delayed through spring 2018. Other than an announcement trailer and a batch of screenshots shared earlier in 2017, Rockstar has remained relatively mum on the next entry in the popular franchise.
As for the upcoming announcement, it's possible we could see the release of a new trailer. Given that Red Dead Redemption 2 doesn't have a firm release date outside of spring 2018, it's also possible we may get something more exact to latch onto as well. In any case, Red Dead Redemption 2 is planned for release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but there's been no word of a PC release thus far. Hopefully, we'll hear much more on the game with next week's announcement.
