Red Xbox One 'Duke' controller up for preorder on Amazon

The original Xbox launched with a massive controller lovably referred to as the "Duke." The accessory was absolutely massive in terms of size, but surprisingly comfortable to hold if you had larger hands. As we all know, nostalgia is a powerful force, and Xbox creator Seamus Blackley teamed up with Hyperkin to release an updated version this year.

The controller features bumpers and other modern buttons which make it work seamlessly with an Xbox One. There's also a gorgeous OLED screen in the center which plays the original Xbox loading screen when you turn it on. Lastly, there's also "impulse trigger" support for games like Forza Horizon 4.

Keep in mind that the updated Duke costs roughly $50 and is a wired controller. You can't use it without cables on an Xbox One. Luckily, it comes with a nine-foot detachable USB cable so you can easily use it from your couch. If you loved the original or want one for your collection, be sure to check it out on Amazon. The controller should ship from the retailer on December 14, 2018.

If you like retro accessories, then be sure to check out the red Duke. It definitely looks unique and we like it more than the green one. There will be a lot of collector's out there who want one so be sure to get your preorder in. Hopefully supplies will last for a while.
