Rayman Origins added to Xbox One backwards compatibility list

Ubisoft's 2D side-scroller Rayman Origins for the Xbox 360 is the latest game that can also be played on the Xbox One due to its recently-added backwards compatibility feature.

The reveal was made by Microsoft's Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb on his Twitter page. Here's a quick description of the game that was first released in 2012:

When the Glade of Dreams is overrun by "nefurrious" Darktoons, it is up to Rayman and his buddies Globox and the Teensies to save the day. Their challenge, restore peace to the Glade or witness their beloved home vanish like a bad dream...

If you already own the digital copy of Rayman Origins and also have a Xbox One, it will show up under Ready to Install in your console's Games & Apps section.
