Rainbow Six Siege picks up 'Six Invitational' playlist and cosmetic packs
Ubisoft has unveiled Rainbow Six Siege content themed around next month's Six Invitational.
Ubisoft has unveiled the "Road to Six Invitational" event for its hit tactical shooter, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege. With February's Six Invitational set to connect the world's top 16 teams for a week of competition, the in-game event brings a new limited-time playlist, paired with new cosmetic skins.
The "Road to S.I." playlist offers your chance to "play like the pros," packing an ultra-competitive ruleset to emulate the Pro League scene. With the official esports map pool and "Pick and Ban" system, the playlist aims to emulate the intensity of official esports leagues.
The event also pairs with the long-rumored Six Invitational "2019 Collection," delivering a range of themed packs for six playable Operators. These packs offer seasonal khaki uniforms, spanning Mira, Thatcher, Dokkaebi, Pulse, Ash, and Doc. Furthermore, 30 percent of earnings are invested into the Six Invitational up to $2 million, with future profits distributed into other official leagues.
The Road to Six Invitational kicks off January 25, ahead of the Six Invitational from February 11 to February 17. The in-game event is scheduled to conclude one day later, on February 18, 2019.
