Quantum Break pre-order bonus codes for Windows 10 will arrive in waves starting April 13th (Update)

Phil Spencer offered an update on Twitter, stating that the Quantum Break pre-order Windows 10 keys will now begin going out on April 13th in waves. Original article below.

We reached out to Microsoft to ask how and when they would honor their pre-order promise. If you pre-ordered the Xbox One version of Quantum Break from Microsoft or participating retailers, your Quantum Break Windows 10 key will arrive via a Xbox Live message, redeemable via the Windows 10 Store by April 15th.

"Download codes for the Windows 10 version of "Quantum Break" are in the process of being distributed to customers who pre-ordered a digital copy of "Quantum Break" for Xbox One through the Xbox Store and participating retailers. Codes will arrive by April 15 via a system message over Xbox Live that includes a 5x5 redemption code for the Windows 10 version of the game."

You can access your Xbox Live messages on a Windows 10 PC by opening the Xbox app, selecting the messages tab on the social pane on the right-hand side of the app. Once you have the 25 character key, you can then head over here to attach the license to your Microsoft Account.

If you want to take advantage of Quantum Break's cloud save syncing across Xbox One and PC, you need to ensure that you're using the same Microsoft Account attached to your Xbox One and your Windows 10 PC.

In our review, I described Quantum Break as the Xbox One's first true killer app, while also noting that it pushed the console to its technical limit. The PC version of Quantum Break has pretty high recommended specs, but if your PC is up to the task, it should deliver an even more stunning experience than it does on console.
