The PNY Pro Elite 1TB portable solid state drive is down to $149.99 at Amazon. That's a crazy low price for a drive we were happy about dropping $250 on just last week. Since then it has seen a couple of price drops; first to $216 and then to today's price.
This 1TB external SSD features quick read and write speeds of up to 900 Mbps thanks to its USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C connector. It's so tiny it can fit in the palm of your hand and slip easily into your laptop bag without adding bulk. In a perfect world, portable solid state drives would be just as inexpensive as portable hard drives.
