Paladins will let you freely copy your PC account to Xbox One for a limited time
If you've put time into Paladins on PC and want to carry that progress over to the open beta on Xbox One, now's your chance. Hi-Rez Studios has announced that PC players will be able to link their PC and console accounts through July 15, allowing important items and XP to be copied in the process.
You'll have to link your accounts first, after which point you'll be able to copy purchases, gold, essence, Champion XP and Account XP from PC to console. Importantly, crystals, the game's premium currency, is not eligible to be copied over. Unfortunately, linking accounts doesn't mean they'll keep syncing items and purchases going forward; this is a one-time copy.
Linking PC and console accounts also unlocks new Zeus and Androxus skins on both platforms as an added bonus.
It's a bit of a tedious process, to be sure, and most players would likely prefer a way to keep both accounts in sync. That said, even a single account copy is better than nothing — and it's more than Paladins' closest competitor, Overwatch, offers. If you're a Paladins veteran at this point, you can get started with the account linking and copy process from Hi-Rez Studios website now. And for newbies to the game, you can check out the free-to-play competitive shooter at the Xbox Store now.
