Outland and Gunstar Heroes added to Xbox One backwards compatibility list

Xbox One owners who bought the digital copies of two older Xbox 360 games, Outland and Gunstar Heroes, can now play them on the Xbox One via its its backwards compatibility feature.

The games were revealed as new entries on the list on the Major Nelson Twitter page. Outland, developed by Housemarque and published by Ubisoft, was first released for the Xbox 360 in 2011. It is a 2D platformer game where the player uses Light and Dark energies to battle monsters, pass through barriers and more. Gunstar Heroes, developed by Treasure and published by Sega, was launched in 2009 and is a sci-fi themed side-scroller action game.
